About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Online Bidder who can generate business opportunities through platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn, Guru, PeoplePerHour, and other lead generation channels. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, proposal writing, negotiation, and client acquisition skills with a proven track record of closing projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Client Acquisition
- Identify and analyze relevant projects on Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn, Guru, PeoplePerHour, and other online marketplaces.
- Submit customized, high-quality proposals that align with client requirements.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into business opportunities.
- Research prospective clients and identify new business opportunities.
Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Engage with potential clients to understand project requirements and business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle.
- Conduct discovery calls, requirement gathering sessions, and follow-up meetings.
- Ensure a professional and consultative approach during all client interactions.
Proposal & Sales Management
- Prepare project estimates, proposals, presentations, and scope documents.
- Negotiate project scope, pricing, timelines, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with technical teams to create accurate project solutions and quotations.
- Take complete ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in online bidding.
- Strong knowledge of Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn, Guru, and similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proposal writing and client presentation abilities.
- Experience in negotiation and deal closure.
- Understanding of software development, web development, mobile applications, QA/testing or IT services is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Experience using CRM tools and project management platforms is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Experience working with international clients (US, UK, Europe, Australia, Middle East etc).
- Proven record of generating revenue through online bidding platforms.
