Job Summary
Nurturers is looking for a compassionate and motivated Special Needs Educator to provide individualized educational and developmental intervention for children with special needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individualized 1:1 educational intervention sessions.
- Develop and implement individualized learning goals and intervention plans.
- Work on school readiness, pre-academic skills, functional academics, attention, instruction following, concept development and independent learning.
- Adapt teaching strategies and learning materials according to each child's needs.
- Track and document progress and maintain session records.
- Communicate with parents and provide home-based learning strategies.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in case discussions, assessments and progress reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Special Education or relevant field.
- RCI-recognized qualification/registration preferred, where applicable.
- 0–3 years of experience; freshers with relevant qualifications are welcome.
- Good understanding of child development and special educational needs.
- Strong communication, observation and documentation skills.
- Patient, empathetic and willing to learn.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
