Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment & Evaluation:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify the specific needs of children.
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Therapeutic Interventions:
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic support to improve emotional regulation, social skills, and behavior.
- Offer individual and group therapy sessions as needed.
- Collaboration & Training:
- Work closely with parents, caregivers, and educators to provide guidance and support for effective strategies.
- Conduct workshops or training sessions for parents and staff to enhance understanding and care techniques.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and modify them as required.
- Child Advocacy:
- Advocate for the rights and needs of neurodivergent children within the community and educational settings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Requirements:
- MPhil in Clinical Psychology, PGDRP (Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology)
- Experience:
- Proven experience working with neurodivergent children, including ASD, ADHD, CP, DS, LD, etc.
- Strong understanding of child psychology and neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to diverse needs.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions.
