We are looking for a skilled website QA tester who can also fix bugs directly in the codebase.
Our platform, Ultra Hustle, is an almost-complete creator marketplace. The website is around 98 to 99% complete, but before launch we need a full QA pass across all major flows, pages, buttons, forms, dashboards, and admin features.
This is not a pure manual testing job. You must be able to test the website, identify issues, debug the cause, fix the bug, push code changes, and provide proof that the issue is resolved.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full manual QA testing across creator, client, public, and admin areas
- Test signup, OTP, login, onboarding, listings, marketplace, search, checkout, wallet, orders, contracts, messaging, notifications, reviews, KYC, and admin panel
- Test desktop and mobile responsiveness
- Check browser console and network errors
- Test role-based access and direct URL access restrictions
- Report bugs clearly with steps, screenshots/videos, expected result, actual result, and severity
- Fix bugs directly in the codebase
- Push fixes using Git branches or pull requests
- Retest fixes and provide final QA sign-off
Required skills:
- Manual QA testing
- Laravel/PHP development
- JavaScript, Ajax/API debugging, HTML/CSS
- MySQL/database understanding
- Git/GitHub
- Browser DevTools
- Ability to test payment sandbox flows
- Ability to work carefully on staging without breaking production
Good to have:
- Marketplace/SaaS testing experience
- Experience with creator/client dashboards
- Experience with wallets, escrow, orders, or payment gateway flows
- Experience testing admin panels
- Experience with security and role-based access testing
