Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Italian Chef to join a premium café team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Italian cuisine, excellent knowledge of food preparation and presentation, and the ability to maintain consistent taste, quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Italian dishes including pizza, pasta, risotto, soups, salads, sauces, appetizers and desserts.
- Handle daily mise en place and ensure all ingredients are ready for service.
- Prepare and maintain quality pizza dough, pasta, sauces and other Italian preparations.
- Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in taste, portion size and presentation.
- Ensure timely preparation of orders during busy café hours.
- Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
- Maintain proper food storage, labeling and portion control.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain efficient use of ingredients.
- Assist in developing new Italian dishes and seasonal café specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Coordinate with the café/service team for smooth order execution.
- Follow food safety standards and kitchen SOPs.
- Guide and support junior kitchen staff when required.
Required Skills

Who Can Apply?
Candidates with 3–5 years of relevant experience as an Italian Chef, CDP – Italian, DCDP or experienced Commis in a premium café, restaurant, hotel or resort are encouraged to apply.
