Role Description (Key Responsibilities)
Prepare General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, and erection drawings for structural steel and PEB projects.
Develop detailed structural steel shop drawings using CAD software.
Prepare Anchor Bolt Plans (ABP), connection details, Bills of Materials (BOM), and material take-offs.
Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, fabrication teams, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
Review and revise drawings based on engineering comments, project requirements, and site feedback.
Ensure drawing accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications and schedules.
Maintain drawing records, revision logs, and document control procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Degree in Civil / Mechanical engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in structural detailing.
Experience in PEB and structural steel detailing for industrial buildings, warehouses, or similar projects is preferred. Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in CAD software for structural and PEB detailing (2D and/or 3D modeling).
Basic understanding of structural steel and PEB components, including framing systems, connections, fabrication, and erection practices.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and structural drawings and convert them into accurate shop and erection drawings.
Experience in preparing Bills of Materials (BOM), cutting lists, and other fabrication-related documentation will be an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in drafting and self-checking of drawings.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project teams, fabrication shops, and site personnel.
