Job Description:
Indian Counseling Services (ICS) is looking for a passionate and experienced Music Therapist Trainer to join our growing academic and mental health team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting professional training sessions, developing practical learning modules, and guiding students in the application of music therapy techniques for emotional, psychological, and behavioral well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct online/offline Music Therapy training sessions
- Develop engaging course content and practical activities
- Teach therapeutic use of music for mental health and emotional healing
- Guide students through case studies, assignments, and practical applications
- Support supervision and skill-based learning
- Participate in workshops, webinars, and academic activities
Eligibility Criteria:
- Degree/Diploma in Music Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, Mental Health, or related field
- Prior experience in training, counseling, therapy, or workshops preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Passion for mental health, wellness, and holistic healing
- Knowledge of therapeutic music techniques will be an added advantage
Preferred Skills:
- Counseling and therapeutic intervention skills
- Experience with children, special education, autism, ADHD, or emotional wellness programs
- Ability to engage and mentor students effectively
- Creative and practical teaching approach
