ob Summary:
The Stores Executive is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of raw materials, consumables, tools, finished goods, and scrap materials in the metal manufacturing factory. The role ensures proper stock maintenance, material availability, accurate documentation, and compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records of raw materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and physical inventory audits.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
Material Receipt & Inspection
- Receive incoming materials as per Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans.
- Verify quantity, specifications, and quality of received materials.
- Coordinate with the Quality Department for material inspection.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and update inventory records.
Material Issue & Dispatch
- Issue materials to production departments against approved requisitions.
- Ensure proper documentation of material movements.
- Coordinate dispatch of finished goods as per delivery schedules.
- Maintain records of dispatches, returns, and transfers.
Store Operations
- Ensure proper storage and identification of materials.
- Maintain FIFO (First In First Out) practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area.
- Monitor and control scrap, rejected materials, and obsolete inventory.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain stock registers, inward and outward registers.
- Update ERP/software inventory records regularly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments.
- Assist in material planning and inventory forecasting.
- Support auditors during internal and external audits.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in stores and inventory managment.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
