Area Sales Manager – Vidarbha Region

Job Summary
Prabal Motors Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations across the Vidarbha region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving vehicle sales, expanding market share, managing dealer and fleet customer relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Manage sales operations across the assigned territory within the Vidarbha region.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base through field activities and market development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet owners, transporters, corporate customers, and key accounts.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team to achieve business goals.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify customer requirements and competitor activities.
- Ensure timely follow-up of enquiries and convert leads into successful sales.
- Coordinate with the Service, Spare Parts, Finance, and CRM teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and territory analysis.
- Plan and execute customer engagement programs, promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and sales events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and reporting standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Graduate / BBA / MBA (Marketing, Sales, or related discipline preferred)
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, with at least 2 years in a team handling or managerial role.
- Experience in the Commercial Vehicle, Automobile, Truck, or Heavy Vehicle industry will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Good understanding of territory management and dealer network operations.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Vidarbha region.
- Valid driving license preferred.
