Job Summary
The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for evaluating patients before surgery, administering anesthesia, monitoring patients during surgical and diagnostic procedures, managing pain, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative period. The role requires close collaboration with surgeons, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations and determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Administer general, regional, local, and monitored anesthesia care for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological status before, during, and after anesthesia.
- Manage airway emergencies and respond promptly to critical situations.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and oversee patient recovery from anesthesia.
- Participate in acute and chronic pain management services as required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and anesthesia documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.
- Participate in emergency services, trauma care, ICU support, and on-call duties as per hospital requirements.
- Stay updated with advancements in anesthesiology through continuous medical education and professional development.
Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology (or equivalent recognized qualification).
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or respective State Medical Council.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
Experience
- Fresh postgraduates and experienced consultants are welcome to apply.
- Experience in handling major surgeries, critical care, obstetric anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, and trauma cases is an advantage.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
