As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework tailored to align with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role includes overseeing the development and documentation of security controls within cloud environments and facilitating the smooth transition of these controls into managed security operations. The position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure that the security architecture supports business needs while maintaining optimal performance and compliance throughout the cloud infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures seamlessly into cloud infrastructure.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance cloud security strategies to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the development of best practices and guidelines for cloud security implementation.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on cloud security principles.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Security Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of cloud service models and deployment architectures.
- Experience with identity and access management in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to cloud security.
- Ability to design and implement security controls for cloud platforms.
- Skilled in risk assessment and mitigation strategies within cloud infrastructures.
