- Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in quality engineering within the agricultural equipment, heavy engineering, fabrication, or automotive manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of fabrication, welding, laser cutting, powder coating, and assembly processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools and measuring instruments.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems is preferred.
- Monitor quality throughout fabrication, laser cutting, welding, powder coating, machining, and assembly operations.
- Inspect dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and NCR documentation.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, and Stores to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and inspection plans.
- Support supplier quality improvement and vendor inspections.
- Reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in process audits and quality system implementation.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
