Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive with 2 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and financial record maintenance while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and record journal entries, receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Process vendor payments and maintain vendor ledgers.
- Generate invoices and follow up on customer collections.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial statements as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in ERP software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
