Job Description: Hindi & Sanskrit Teacher
A Hindi & Sanskrit Teacher is responsible for teaching students the Hindi and Sanskrit languages, developing their reading, writing, speaking, and grammar skills, and promoting an appreciation of Indian literature and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Hindi and Sanskrit lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, literature, comprehension, and writing skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate students' academic progress through tests, projects, and classroom activities.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support to students who need improvement.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage students to participate in cultural, literary, and language-related activities.
- Integrate modern teaching methods and educational technology into classroom instruction.
- Maintain accurate student attendance, performance, and progress records.
- Communicate regularly with parents and school administration regarding student development.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hindi, Sanskrit, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred or required by the institution).
- Strong knowledge of Hindi and Sanskrit grammar, literature, and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of different learning abilities.
