Role Overview
We are looking for a Telecaller Trainee to join our student counseling and recruitment team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for students and candidates exploring nursing studies in Germany - including the Ausbildung pathway and other German programmes.
Your day-to-day focus will be reaching out to prospective candidates, clearly explaining programme options, assessing their eligibility, and ensuring timely follow-ups to keep the counseling pipeline moving. You will work closely with our senior counselors and recruitment team to ensure every candidate receives accurate, helpful, and encouraging guidance from the very first call.
Training Period: This is a 3-month paid trainee position. Upon successful completion, candidates will be confirmed into a permanent full-time role within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective students and candidates and handle inbound enquiries about the Ausbildung nursing programme and other international study opportunities.
- Explain the Ausbildung nursing pathway, eligibility criteria, application steps, and timelines clearly over the phone.
- Conduct initial telephonic screening to assess candidate interest, academic background, and basic eligibility.
- Log all call details, candidate responses, and follow-up actions accurately in the CRM and counseling database.
- Schedule counseling sessions and interviews by coordinating with the senior counseling and recruitment team.
- Follow up consistently with candidates on pending documents, language preparation status, and application updates.
- Address student queries and concerns politely and clearly on every call.
- Conduct webinars related to the Hire and Care's Program
- Meet daily call targets and contribute to monthly enrolment and lead conversion goals.
Requirements
- Recent graduate (any stream); BBA, BA, BCom, or related qualification preferred.
- Strong spoken communication skills in English and Malayalam; Hindi or other languages are a plus.
- Clear and confident phone manner with good listening and explanation skills.
- Organised and consistent - able to manage multiple student follow-ups daily.
- Comfortable working towards daily call targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior knowledge of study abroad processes or nursing programmes is an advantage but not required.
- No prior experience required - freshers are encouraged to apply.
