Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to manage customer relationships, coordinate sales activities, and support business development. The candidate will be responsible for handling enquiries, preparing quotations, following up on orders, coordinating with internal departments, and visiting customers to strengthen relationships, understand requirements, and support sales growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Coordination
- Handle customer enquiries through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Prepare and submit quotations in coordination with the technical and engineering teams.
- Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Process customer purchase orders and coordinate with production for timely execution.
- Maintain sales records, customer databases, and sales reports.
- Assist the sales team in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
Customer Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales and order execution process.
- Provide regular updates on order status, delivery schedules, and project progress.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and service teams to ensure timely deliveries and installations.
- Resolve customer queries and escalate issues when required.
- Build long-term relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business.
Customer Visits
- Visit garment factories, textile units, buying houses, and industrial customers to understand their requirements.
- Conduct regular follow-up visits to maintain strong customer relationships.
- Identify opportunities for additional sales, spare parts, and service business.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate improvement suggestions to management.
- Support the sales team during product demonstrations and project discussions.
Business Development Support
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
- Coordinate meetings and presentations with prospective clients.
- Support participation in exhibitions, customer events, and industry meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in sales coordination, customer relationship management, or industrial sales.
- Experience in conveyor systems, material handling equipment, textile machinery, or the garment industry is preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
