Key Requirement for the Position
Minimum Education Qualification: BTech or MBA from a reputed institution
6–10 years of experience in partner/channel management in Fintech/NBFC. Strong preference for candidates with experience in working with Universities & other education institutions
Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams (credit, collections, operations, risk).
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities; proficiency in tools like Excel, CRM platforms, and dashboards is a plus.
Operationally sound with a process-oriented mindset and ability to drive execution at scale.
A working understanding of the education financing ecosystem or student loan segment is highly desirable.
High ownership mindset, strong communication skills, and a problem-solving approach to business challenges.
Job Description
Partner Management & Business Growth
Manage and grow assigned partners (education consultants, edtech platforms, universities, aggregators, etc.) to drive loan volumes.
Monitor and improve key performance metrics: approval rate, disbursal rate, TAT, partner satisfaction, and lead-to-loan conversion.
Analyze partner performance data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure partner portals, integrations, and tools meet partner needs.
Onboarding & Enablement
Actively lead and support the onboarding process for new partners including due diligence, training, and integration setup.
Design and deliver partner training programs on processes, product features, and compliance.
Customize engagement strategies for each partner type to ensure quick ramp-up and early success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate closely with credit, collections, and operations to ensure smooth loan disbursement and post-disbursal service.
Liaise with risk teams to flag issues and implement corrective actions on fraud, delinquency, or compliance gaps.
Work with marketing to enable partner-led campaigns and content support.
P&L Ownership
Own the profitability and efficiency of your assigned partners’ book.
Monitor cost per acquisition, loan performance, and partner commissions to optimize unit economics.
Identify leakage or inefficiencies and execute measures to improve margin and reduce risk.
