We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to turn empty or outdated spaces into beautiful, functional environments. You will manage design projects from the initial concept stage all the way to final installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with Clients: Meet clients to understand their style, needs, goals, and budget for the space.
- Plan Spaces: Analyze how people move through a room and create practical floor plans and layouts.
- Develop Concepts: Sketch preliminary design ideas and build mood boards or digital presentations.
- Select Materials: Choose colors, lighting, furniture, flooring, wall finishes, and fixtures.
- Manage Budgets & Timelines: Estimate project costs and set realistic schedules for completion.
- Coordinate Execution: Hire and direct contractors, vendors, and suppliers (such as carpenters, painters, and electricians) to bring the design to life.
- Oversee Installation: Supervise work progress on-site and ensure high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Experience: Proven working experience as an interior designer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or Illustrator.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of color theory, spatial planning, materials, and basic building/safety codes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, creative problem-solving, and project management abilities
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
