Job Overview:
Smartfox Digital Academy is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide students in choosing the right digital marketing courses and help them build successful careers. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, sales confidence, and the ability to understand student needs and recommend suitable training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and professionals regarding digital marketing courses and career opportunities
- Handle inbound and outbound enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins
- Explain course details, curriculum, certifications, internship opportunities, and career prospects
- Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into admissions
- Maintain student enquiry records and update CRM/spreadsheets regularly
- Coordinate with trainers and management regarding admissions and student onboarding
- Assist students in selecting suitable learning programs based on their goals
- Conduct counselling sessions for walk-in students and online enquiries
- Achieve admission targets and support business growth initiatives
- Maintain positive relationships with prospective students and parents
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong convincing and counselling ability
- Basic computer knowledge (Google Sheets, Email, CRM tools preferred)
- Ability to manage leads and follow-up processes effectively
- Sales or counselling experience is an added advantage
- Positive attitude and goal-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (not mandatory for highly skilled candidates)
Preferred Experience:
- 0–3 years experience in academic counselling, telesales, education consulting, customer support, or admissions
- Freshers with excellent communication skills can also apply
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
