About the role
As an Jr.Executive – GBS Delivery you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will be a key member of the Asset Management , collaborating with Real Estate Teams, Regional Controllers, auditors and AP team teams. As a team of self-starters, you can work with impact with our vibrant people and culture all while enjoying unmatched learning opportunities.
In this role, you will be:
Accounting for the Fixed Assets Globally across Cognizant – including capitalization, retirement and transfer of the assets
Preparing the required reconciliations monthly including sub module to General ledger recon
Responding to queries from Business
Co-ordinate Physical Verification of Assets
Co-ordinating with internal and external auditors
Ensuring that the Sox Controls are considered and followed.

What you must have to be considered
Degree in Commerce / Accounting with 2-3 years of experience in core accounting
Strong knowledge in Accounting and Reporting
Knowledge on Fixed Assets Accounting is preferable.
A strong sense of ownership, desire to create meaningful outcomes, and passion for work that serves a greater good for customers, communities, or global challenges.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
