About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Server & Storage Hardware Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in server and storage hardware support, data center operations, virtualization, and Windows/Linux server administration. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise server and storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hardware support for enterprise servers from HPE, Dell, and Lenovo .
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Rack Servers and Blade Chassis .
Perform Windows and Linux OS installation , configuration, and troubleshooting.
Manage server-side network connectivity for rack servers and blade chassis.
Configure, implement, and support NAS and SAN Storage solutions (NetApp, HPE, Dell).
Perform RAID configuration , monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Diagnose and resolve server hardware issues and perform preventive maintenance.
Plan and execute Firmware and BIOS upgrades .
Manage data center activities including rack installation, power management, and structured cabling .
Administer VMware virtualization environments including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter .
Perform Virtual Machine provisioning, migration, and basic administration .
Administer and support Windows Server environments.
Install and maintain Tape Libraries and backup hardware solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–5 years of experience in Server & Storage Infrastructure Support.
Hands-on experience with HPE, Dell, and Lenovo server hardware.
Strong understanding of Rack Servers and Blade Chassis architecture.
Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
Knowledge of NAS, SAN, RAID , and enterprise storage technologies.
Familiarity with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter .
Experience with firmware, BIOS upgrades, and hardware troubleshooting.
Good understanding of data center infrastructure, cabling, and power management.
Knowledge of backup hardware and tape library solutions.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
VMware certification is an added advantage.
Experience working in enterprise data center environments.
Knowledge of backup solutions and storage best practices.
