Role Description The Project Head (Civil BOQ) is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamnagar, responsible for leading civil Bill of Quantities (BOQ) activities for safety and consulting projects. This role oversees the preparation, review, and validation of detailed civil BOQs, including quantity estimation, cost analysis, and alignment with project specifications and safety standards. The Project Head coordinates with project managers, engineering teams, vendors, and clients to ensure accurate documentation, timely approvals, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include monitoring project progress related to civil works, resolving technical queries, maintaining clear records, and supporting audits, licensing, and certification processes. The role also contributes to process improvement, supports training initiatives related to civil BOQ practices, and provides leadership to junior team members involved in estimation and documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong civil engineering and BOQ preparation skills, including quantity estimation, cost analysis, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
- Experience in project management for civil works, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and monitor multiple projects or work streams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and documentation practices in industrial or infrastructure environments.
- Proficiency with civil design and estimation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, BOQ/estimation software) and comfort working with digital documentation.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for coordinating with clients, internal teams, and external agencies.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members, delegate tasks, and ensure quality and accuracy in all BOQ and documentation work.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; professional certifications in project management or safety are an advantage.
- Prior experience in industrial projects, consulting environments, or safety PMC projects in or around Jamnagar is preferred.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
