Purpose of the Role
Ensure every project is thoroughly verified before release to production by checking drawings, dimensions, materials, hardware, BOM, and manufacturing feasibility. The objective is to eliminate design and pre-production errors that lead to factory rework, site issues, and customer complaints.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Validation
- Review all Infurnia drawings before production release.
- Verify site measurements against design drawings.
- Check room dimensions and clearances.
- Validate modular dimensions and installation feasibility.
- Verify material specifications and finishes.
- Validate edge banding requirements.
- Check grain direction where applicable.
- Verify hardware selection and compatibility.
- Ensure all accessories are included.
- Verify carcass, shutters, shelves, drawers, and fillers.
Production Readiness
- Verify BOM accuracy.
- Check cut lists.
- Ensure no missing components.
- Review CNC/manufacturing compatibility.
- Ensure standard manufacturing practices are followed.
- Identify potential production issues before release.
Coordination
- Coordinate with designers for corrections.
- Work with Production Planning.
- Support Production QC on technical clarifications.
Quality Targets
- Zero production release without QC approval.
- Reduce production rework.
- Reduce installation issues.
- Improve first-time-right production.
Required Skills
- 3–6 years in Modular Interior Design.
- Strong Infurnia knowledge.
- Knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing.
- Hardware knowledge (Blum, Hettich, Hafele or equivalent).
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledge of plywood, MDF, particle board, laminates, acrylic, veneer.
- Good communication skills.
Qualification
- Diploma/B.E. Civil / Mechanical / Interior Design / Furniture Design.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
