Job Description
Global Indian International School (GIIS) is looking for a passionate and dedicated TGT Social Studies (SST) Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should be committed to delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive learning environment for middle school students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Social Studies lessons for middle school students.
- Develop engaging lesson plans and learning activities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Relevant teaching experience in a reputed school.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to create an interactive and engaging classroom environment.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools.
