The Microbiologist will oversee the activity of the Microbiological testing in quality control department and maintains a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products and/or development processes.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Prepares and follows the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
- Prepares performance evaluations.
- Handles documentation requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares SOPs for Testing of materials, maintains instrument logbooks, Analyses the samples from various departments.
- Maintains compliance with national, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or equivalent required.
- Two to Three years of experience in related field required with documentation is plus.
