Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with 4+ years of experience in construction and engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and detailed shop drawings as per project requirements and engineering standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of drafting software, construction drawings, and coordination with site and design teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for architectural, structural, interior, and MEP works.
- Develop shop drawings, working drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and site teams for drawing updates and revisions.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Modify and revise drawings based on site conditions and management instructions.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
- Prepare BOQ-related drawing references when required.
- Support project execution teams with technical drafting assistance.
- Conduct site visits when necessary for measurements and verification.
- Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other drafting software will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and detailing.
- Ability to interpret engineering and architectural plans.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
Qualification
- BE / BTech in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or relevant field.
- Certification in AutoCAD or Drafting preferred.
