We specialize in mechanized cleaning, waste management operations, and municipal infrastructure support (including advanced suction machine operations and urban cooling solutions). We work closely with municipal corporations, industrial clients, and commercial complexes to make urban spaces cleaner, healthier, and more liveable.
Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy, execution-focused Business Development Intern to join our founding team. This is not a standard desk job. You will work directly with leadership to identify growth opportunities, pitch mechanized sanitation solutions to B2B and government clients, and help scale our field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research & Lead Generation: Identify potential commercial, industrial, and residential clients requiring mechanized cleaning, waste management, or operations and maintenance (O&M) services.
- Client Outreach & Pitching: Assist in drafting professional business proposals, presentations, and tender responses for corporate clients and municipal bodies.
- On-Field Client Meetings: Visit potential sites, meet with property managers, factory heads, and procurement officers to pitch Swachh Sanitation’s value proposition.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong rapport with existing and prospective clients, ensuring timely follow-ups and high satisfaction.
- Operations Coordination: Act as a bridge between the sales pipeline and our ground operations team to ensure smooth service delivery for newly onboarded clients.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Commerce, Engineering, or a related field (MBA aspirants/students are welcome).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi to effectively coordinate with corporate clients, government officials, and ground staff.
- Mindset: An entrepreneurial, self-driven attitude. You aren't afraid to step out into the field, learn the operational realities of a service business, and take ownership.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Logistics: Must own a two-wheeler and have a valid driving license for local field visits.
