We are looking for a smart, energetic, passionate, and result-oriented professional to join our Logistics & Operations team and ensure seamless dispatch, transportation, and operational coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Dispatch Management
- Plan and execute daily dispatch schedules as per customer requirements.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and sales teams for smooth material movement.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials.
- Maintain dispatch records and logistics reports.
Vehicle Coordination
- Arrange vehicles for dispatch and inbound shipments.
- Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability.
- Track vehicle movement and ensure on-time deliveries.
Delivery Management
- Monitor shipment status from dispatch to delivery.
- Resolve delivery-related issues and delays.
- Ensure customer delivery commitments are fulfilled.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, LR copies, and transport documents.
- Maintain logistics documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with transportation and statutory requirements.
Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse and stores teams for stock availability.
- Monitor inventory movement and material flow.
- Support stock verification and inventory reconciliation activities.
Cost Control & Transporter Negotiation
- Negotiate freight rates with transporters and logistics vendors.
- Monitor transportation expenses and logistics costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without impacting service quality.
- Develop and maintain strong transporter relationships.
Customer Coordination
- Communicate dispatch and delivery status to customers.
- Handle customer queries related to logistics and shipment tracking.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Operations Management
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities.
- Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures.
Discipline & Attendance
- Maintain professional discipline and punctuality.
- Coordinate workforce availability with reporting managers.
- Contribute to a positive and accountable work culture.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Logistics, Supply Chain & Transportation Management.
- Excellent transporter negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong communication and customer-handling abilities.
- Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
- Knowledge of dispatch documentation and logistics compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and cost-control mindset.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma/Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Operations will be an added advantage.
