Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trade Finance Executive to support our clients in managing import-export documentation, trade finance activities, banking coordination, and cross-border transaction processes. The role offers exposure to diverse industries and international business environments and requires close collaboration with clients, banks, logistics partners, and internal finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Finance Operations
- Manage and coordinate trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), export-import remittances, and related banking documentation.
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions to facilitate trade finance activities and ensure timely processing of transactions.
- Monitor trade finance documentation to ensure compliance with banking and regulatory requirements.
- Support clients in resolving trade finance-related queries and operational challenges.
Import & Export Documentation
- Prepare, review, and validate import-export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, shipping documents, and customs-related documentation.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, logistics providers, and clients to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Track documentation timelines and ensure timely submission to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of all trade and shipping transactions.
Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure adherence to applicable trade regulations, FEMA guidelines, and international trade requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless cross-border transactions.
- Support audits and compliance reviews related to trade and international operations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
Client Management
- Work directly with multiple clients to understand their trade finance and operational requirements.
- Provide timely updates and ensure high standards of client service.
- Assist senior finance leaders and Virtual CFO teams in executing client deliverables.
Requirements
- B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent commerce/finance qualification.
- Proven experience in Trade Finance, International Operations, Import-Export Documentation, Banking Operations, Logistics Coordination, Commercial Documentation, Foreign Trade, Treasury Operations, or related domains.
- Strong understanding of import-export processes and international trade documentation.
- Experience coordinating with banks, logistics partners, customs agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of trade finance instruments and banking procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and client engagements simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Occasional travel within India and overseas, including Dubai and African countries, based on client requirements.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
