The Area Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple QSR outlets within an assigned territory. The role ensures operational excellence, profitability, customer satisfaction, food safety compliance, team development, and achievement of business targets while maintaining the company's brand standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple QSR outlets.
- Ensure all outlets operate according to the company's SOPs and brand standards.
- Conduct regular outlet visits and operational audits.
- Monitor store opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure smooth coordination between outlets and the corporate office.
Sales & Business Growth
- Drive sales growth and achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Analyze daily sales reports and identify growth opportunities.
- Plan and execute local store marketing initiatives.
- Improve average order value, customer footfall, and repeat business.
- Support new store openings and expansion activities.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor Outlet Managers and restaurant teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on customer service and operational excellence.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and staff scheduling.
- Reduce employee attrition through engagement and development initiatives.
Customer Experience
- Maintain high standards of customer service across all outlets.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor customer feedback from online platforms and in-store channels.
- Implement initiatives to improve guest satisfaction.
Food Quality & Hygiene
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor food preparation, storage, and product quality.
- Ensure all outlets follow FSSAI guidelines and internal quality standards.
- Conduct regular food quality audits.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor inventory levels and stock movement.
- Minimize food wastage and operational losses.
- Control food cost, labour cost, and operating expenses.
- Ensure timely stock ordering and vendor coordination.
- Prevent pilferage and inventory discrepancies.
Financial Management
- Achieve outlet profitability targets.
- Review daily sales, cash handling, and banking procedures.
- Monitor outlet P&L performance.
- Analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure statutory compliance, licenses, and documentation are up to date.
- Maintain health, safety, and security standards.
- Conduct surprise audits and compliance checks.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track KPIs and present performance reviews to management.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in QSR, Restaurant, Café, or Food Retail operations.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing multiple outlets.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
