Role Azure Cosmos DB DBA Database Engineer
Job Locations- Pune/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Coimbatore/Chennai
Key Responsibilities
Provision configure and manage Azure Cosmos DB accounts databases and containers SQLCore or relevant API across subscriptions and regions
Design and optimize data models partition keys indexing policies and TTL to meet performance and cost targets
Manage throughput RUs and autoscale settings perform capacity planning and cost optimization for workloads
Monitor database health latency and consumption using Azure Monitor metrics diagnostic settings and Log Analytics
Perform performance tuning using query metrics SDK recommendations and indexingpartition refinements
Implement and validate backup restore and disaster recovery multiregion replication failover and recovery drills
Ensure security and compliance RBAC managed identities network isolation Private EndpointsVNet encryption key management and auditing
Support application teams with schemacontainer changes migrations onlineoffline and release deployments
Troubleshoot production incidents availability throttling connectivity replication lag data consistency and drive RCA and preventive actions
Maintain SOPs runbooks dashboards and operational documentation participate in oncall 24x7 support and planned maintenance
Primary skill
Must have Azure Cosmos DB Core API based on workload SQLCore MongoDB Cassandra Gremlin Table NoSQL database administration Azure Cloud Platform

Experience Range
6- 10 years of overall DBA database engineering experience
2 years handson experience administering Azure Cosmos DB in production
Strong troubleshooting analytical and communication skills
Ability to work independently in highavailability customerfacing environments
Certifications Good to Have
Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals AZ900
Microsoft Certified Azure Cosmos DB Developer Specialty or current equivalent
ITIL Foundation Certification
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
