The Assistant Sales Manager supports the sales team in driving room revenue, corporate business, and banquet sales by assisting in account management, generating leads, and achieving assigned targets while maintaining brand standards.
- Support in generating room nights through Corporate, Travel Agents, and B2B segments
- Assist in acquiring and managing corporate and institutional accounts
- Work towards achieving assigned revenue targets
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and hotel site inspections
- Assist in negotiating rates and agreements within approved guidelines
- Coordinate with Revenue, Front Office, and Operations teams
- Support banquet, conference, and event sales
- Participate in sales activities such as site visits, networking, and follow-ups
- Prepare sales reports and maintain MIS/CRM data
- Ensure adherence to pricing and brand guidelines
- Handle client queries and provide timely support
- Contribution to Room Nights & Revenue
- Lead Generation & Conversion Support
- Client Acquisition & Retention
- Support in Banquet and Event Sales
- Timely reporting and documentation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic negotiation and relationship management ability
- Understanding of hotel sales segments
- Coordination and follow-up skills
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
- Basic analytical and reporting skills
- Graduate; Hotel Management preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in hotel sales or related field
- Exposure to corporate or banquet sales is an advantage
- Willingness to travel locally
