Job Summary
The Tailor/Stitcher is responsible for stitching and assembling uniform garments according to approved specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. The role requires accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality finished products that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment efficiently and safely.
- Stitch garment components as per approved patterns, measurements, and production specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, fitting, finishing, and quality of stitched garments.
- Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments when required.
- Follow production targets and complete assigned work within specified timelines.
- Inspect garments during and after stitching to identify and rectify defects.
- Maintain consistency in stitching quality across all uniform products.
- Coordinate with cutting, quality control, and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Report machine issues, material shortages, or production concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and sewing equipment.
- Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and production procedures.
- Assist in urgent production requirements and special orders as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Competencies

- Knowledge of garment construction and tailoring techniques.
- Ability to read measurements, patterns, and production instructions.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
