JOB Position: Manager – International Affairs
Location: Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab
Position Summary:
Chandigarh University is looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and experienced Manager – International Affairs to support and manage the University's internationalization initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for international student recruitment, admissions coordination, partner university relations, overseas outreach, and stakeholder management.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and relationship-management skills, an understanding of international education markets, and the ability to manage multiple international projects and teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
International Student Recruitment
Develop and implement strategies for international student recruitment and enrolment.
Identify potential international markets, institutions, agents, and recruitment channels.
Coordinate with international recruitment partners and education consultants.
Monitor recruitment targets and ensure achievement of assigned admission goals.
Track student enquiries, applications, conversions, and enrolments.
International Admissions & Coordination
Coordinate the complete admission process for international students.
Ensure timely processing of applications, documentation, eligibility verification, and admission decisions.
Coordinate with academic departments, admissions, finance, hostel, visa support, and other relevant teams.
Resolve student and partner queries related to admissions and university processes.
Ensure a smooth pre-arrival and onboarding experience for international students.
International Partnerships
Support the development and maintenance of relationships with foreign universities, institutions, organizations, and agencies.
Assist in identifying opportunities for MoUs, student exchange programs, academic collaborations, faculty mobility, and other international initiatives.
Coordinate meetings, visits, delegations, and international conferences with partner institutions.
Maintain regular communication and follow-up with international stakeholders.
International Outreach & Market Development
Conduct research on international education trends and emerging student markets.
Support overseas education fairs, exhibitions, webinars, seminars, school/university visits, and recruitment events.
Develop country-specific recruitment plans and outreach strategies.
Represent the University at international education events whenever required.
Student & Stakeholder Relations
Act as a point of contact for international students and overseas stakeholders.
Address student concerns and coordinate with concerned departments for timely resolution.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, agents, institutions, and international partners.
Ensure a professional and positive experience for international stakeholders.
Educational Qualification:
Master's degree in International Relations, International Business, Management, Marketing, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM or equivalent qualification will be preferred.
Experience:
5–8 years of relevant experience in international education, international admissions, student recruitment, university international relations, overseas education, or a related field.
Experience in managing international recruitment teams and overseas education partners will be preferred.
Candidates with experience in higher education institutions/universities will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
