About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, qualified, and experienced Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, counselling, and evidence-based interventions to individuals experiencing emotional, behavioural, developmental, or mental health concerns.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, professional integrity, and a client-centred approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments, clinical interviews, and behavioural evaluations.
- Develop individualised treatment and intervention plans.
- Provide individual, family, or group counselling, depending on client needs.
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches and psychological interventions.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely client records.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans when required.
- Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and mental health crises.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, counsellors, educators, social workers, and other professionals.
- Provide psychoeducation and mental health guidance to clients and their families.
- Participate in case discussions, professional development activities, and team meetings.
- Adhere to professional ethics, confidentiality requirements, and organisational policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience as a psychologist.
- Valid professional registration, certification, or licence, as required by applicable local regulations.
- Experience conducting assessments and providing psychological interventions.
- Sound knowledge of psychological theories, therapeutic methods, and ethical standards.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safeguarding procedures.
