Key ResponsibilitiesTax Compliance & Advisory
- Manage the preparation and review of Australian income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs).
- Review Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations and reporting requirements.
- Research and interpret Australian tax legislation and provide practical tax solutions to clients.
- Assist clients with tax planning, structuring, and compliance strategies.
Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through timely communication and proactive support.
- Address client queries and provide tax-related guidance.
- Coordinate with Australian-based teams, partners, and stakeholders.
Team Leadership
- Manage, train, and mentor tax professionals and junior team members.
- Review work prepared by staff and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor team productivity, quality, and adherence to deadlines.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management initiatives.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal quality standards.
- Stay updated on changes in Australian taxation laws and communicate relevant updates to the team.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA, CPA Australia, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Australian taxation and accounting.
- Prior experience in a managerial or team leadership role preferred.
- Experience working with Australian accounting firms or offshore service centers is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws, ATO compliance requirements, BAS, IAS, FBT, GST, and SMSF regulations.
- Proficiency in Australian accounting and tax software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, APS, HandiSoft, BGL, or similar platforms.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
