Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data management, reporting, and analysis, with expertise in spreadsheets, relational databases, and business intelligence tools. This role will involve managing large datasets, ensuring data accuracy, and providing actionable insights that support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and trackers for business units.
- Work with relational data structures (tables, relationships, primary & foreign keys, normalization).
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources; manage imports/exports, deduplication, and data validation.
- Build advanced reports using Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query).
- Write and optimize SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY) for reporting and analysis.
- Ensure data quality by implementing validation checks, exception handling, and reconciliation processes.
- Automate recurring reports and processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and deep-dives for business performance monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in MIS Analyst, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, formulas, advanced lookups, Power Query).
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and reporting.
- Experience in data cleaning, deduplication, and validation techniques.
- Ability to handle large datasets and ensure data accuracy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio).
- Knowledge of VBA, Google Apps Script, or Python for automation.
- Understanding of basic statistics and data visualization best practices.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and integration with reporting frameworks.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month
