Role and Skill: Treasury Ledger Reporting Consultant

Education:
- Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3)
- Non-technical graduation in finance & accounts stream- B.Com, M.Com or similar
Key Responsibilities -
- Strong grasp of IFRS 9 classification model: amortised cost, FVOCI (Fair Value Through Other Comprehensive Income) , FVPL (Fair Value Through Profit or Loss)
- Knowledge of expected accounting entries for key treasury products:
o Derivatives FVPL; hedge accounting adjustments (OCI-Other Comprehensive Income /P&L)
o Bonds amortised cost (EIR), FVOCI (OCI + recycling), FVPL
- Practical exposure to real world treasury accounting from and related SOWs, including valuations, FV adjustments, OCI postings, and automated entries from Murex.
- Treasury product knowledge, i.e. derivatives like interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps and FX swaps and cash instruments like bonds (issued/purchased), money market loan/deposits, repos/reverse repos etc.
- Resources who understand the difference between accounting at amortised cost or fair value through P&L – and who have an idea what’s driving the valuation of a financial instrument.
