Job Description – GoLang Solution Architect
Job Title: GoLang Solution Architect
Experience: 10–12 Years
Work Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Level: Senior / Solution Architect
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with strong GoLang and cloud architecture expertise to own the end-to-end solution architecture for a cloud-based cybersecurity platform operating at massive scale.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and operating highly scalable, distributed, secure, multi-tenant cloud platforms, supporting millions of assets, endpoints, records, and events. The architect will work across engineering, product, security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to establish a unified and scalable technical direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and define the end-to-end solution architecture across multiple product modules such as detection, response, asset inventory, analytics, and reporting.
- Design highly scalable systems capable of reliably handling millions of assets/endpoints and high-volume event data.
- Lead architecture decisions covering cloud infrastructure, compute, storage, networking, IAM, multi-region, multi-tenant architecture, and disaster recovery.
- Design and govern integrations with third-party platforms including SIEM/SOAR, ticketing systems, identity providers, cloud APIs, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Define reusable API, webhook, messaging, integration, and data-contract patterns rather than point-to-point solutions.
- Drive architecture and technology decisions for GoLang-based microservices and distributed systems.
- Establish architectural standards and guardrails for scalability, security, reliability, API design, data flow, observability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps, capacity plans, technology strategies, and technical standards aligned with business and product objectives.
- Conduct architecture reviews and identify performance bottlenecks, scalability constraints, security risks, and single points of failure.
- Perform threat modeling and security architecture reviews for critical system components.
- Define and enforce non-functional requirements around performance, availability, security, reliability, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Security, Cloud Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure architectural alignment.
- Support enterprise customer and presales discussions, particularly for complex and large-scale deployments.
- Evaluate and select appropriate databases, messaging platforms, orchestration technologies, caching solutions, service mesh, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Provide technical leadership and influence across multiple engineering teams without requiring direct reporting authority.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–12 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, system architecture, or related fields.
- At least 4+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in GoLang (Golang) and Go-based backend/microservices architecture.
- Proven experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with multi-tenant, multi-account, multi-region cloud architectures.
- Strong understanding of:
- Distributed systems
- Microservices architecture
- Event-driven architecture
- Data partitioning/sharding
- Eventual consistency
- Caching strategies
- Messaging and asynchronous processing
- API architecture
- Experience designing integration architectures using REST APIs, webhooks, message queues, and third-party APIs.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security controls, reliability, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, performance engineering, and capacity planning.
- Ability to create architecture documentation including C4 diagrams, ADRs, architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, and data-flow diagrams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Cybersecurity Expertise :
- SIEM / SOAR
- EDR / XDR
- CNAPP / CSPM
- Threat detection and response
- Security event pipelines
- Identity and access management
- Threat intelligence
- Security APIs and integrations
- Secure distributed-system design
- Threat modeling and security-by-design principles
Candidates from adjacent domains with strong large-scale distributed-system architecture experience and the ability to quickly ramp up on cybersecurity are also considered.
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating with platforms such as Splunk, ServiceNow, Okta, AWS Security Hub, or similar enterprise security ecosystems.
- Experience with Kubernetes at scale and service mesh technologies.
- Strong Terraform/IaC experience.
- Experience with enterprise or regulated environments involving SOC 2, FedRAMP, or ISO 27001 requirements.
- Experience scaling products from hundreds of thousands to millions/tens of millions of managed assets.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS and multi-tenant platforms.
- Experience with high-throughput data stores, distributed databases, Kafka or similar messaging systems.
- Experience participating in presales, enterprise solutioning, and customer architecture discussions.
