Job Summary
The Delivery Boy is responsible for ensuring the timely, safe, and accurate delivery of products to customers while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude. The role also includes handling delivery documentation, collecting payments (if applicable), and maintaining the assigned delivery vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver orders to customers on time.
- Verify delivery items before dispatch.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
- Collect cash or digital payments when required.
- Obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.
- Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
- Report delivery issues, delays, or customer concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow all traffic rules and company safety guidelines.
- Represent Hedonne professionally while interacting with customers.
Requirements
- Valid driving license (two-wheeler/four-wheeler as applicable).
- Good knowledge of local routes and areas.
- Basic communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit to handle deliveries.
- Honest, punctual, and responsible.
- Prior delivery experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Working Hours
As per company policy and operational requirements.
Reporting To
Operations Manager / Logistics Supervisor
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
