Job Summary
Podium Systems is seeking an experienced Pricing Manager to join our freight forwarding team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing competitive pricing strategies, preparing accurate quotations, and supporting business growth through effective pricing management across ocean, air, and road freight.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage pricing strategies for ocean, air, and road freight.
- Prepare accurate and timely freight quotations.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and overseas agents for rate procurement and pricing.
- Monitor market trends, carrier rates, and competitor pricing.
- Analyze costs and margins to improve profitability.
- Maintain pricing records and ensure timely updates.
- Support the sales team with pricing-related information and solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing.
- Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, LCL, FCL, and Export/Import operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and pricing tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international freight forwarding companies.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build effective relationships with carriers, agents, and internal teams.
