Algology is a biotechnology company developing sustainable, algae-based ingredients for the food and beverage industry. Our flagship product, Algablu™, is a natural blue ingredient derived from Spirulina and designed to help brands create innovative, clean-label products.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Business Development Executive to support the growth of Algablu™ across cafés, bakeries, dessert brands, beverage companies, and other food businesses.
The role involves identifying prospective customers, conducting product introductions, coordinating trials, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers in the food and beverage sector.
- Conduct product presentations and educational discussions.
- Coordinate product sampling and trials.
- Follow up with prospects and existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Support achievement of monthly sales objectives.
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, food service, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in food, beverages, and emerging consumer trends.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts.
- Proficiency in English; Tamil is an advantage.
