Pre-Sales Consultant – Office Furniture SolutionsJob SummaryWe are seeking a technically skilled and highly driven Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our corporate client needs, design ideas, and manufacturing capabilities. You will work closely with the B2B sales teams, architects, project management consultants (PMCs), and end clients to deeply understand corporate workspace requirements and present competitive, tailored space-planning and furniture estimations.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Consultation & Client Engagement
- Analyze client requirements: Study layout plans, interior fit-out drawings, tender documents, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) provided by clients or architects. [1, 2]
- Conduct site visits: Perform detailed site surveys and space measurements when needed to ensure product compatibility and accurate planning. [1, 2]
- Consult on product range: Recommend appropriate modular workstations, partition systems, executive desks, and seating solutions based on space optimization and client budget.
Estimation & Proposal Preparation
- Develop accurate BOQs: Prepare cost valuations, material breakdowns, and standard estimations for custom modular furniture assemblies.
- Optimize pricing layouts: Partner with our design and production teams to offer alternative, cost-saving structural engineering options without compromising quality.
- Draft professional proposals: Create technical sales pitches, data specification sheets, and competitive commercial quotes for presentation to enterprise accounts.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Liaise with design teams: Work with 2D/3D AutoCAD or SketchUp designers to ensure visual mockups exactly align with structural engineering limits and commercial quotes.
- Hand over to Project Managers: Ensure seamless translation of technical configurations to project installation managers and site engineers once a purchase order is won.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Industry Background: Minimum 2 to 5 years of hands-on pre-sales, cost estimation, or technical sales experience strictly within the office modular furniture, turn-key commercial interiors, or building materials sectors.
- Academic Background: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related technical field is highly preferred.
Technical Proficiencies
- Extensive knowledge of furniture raw materials (e.g., MDF, PLPB, metal framework fabrications, powder coating finishes, acoustic textiles).
- Sharp ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference AutoCAD design layouts, architectural scaling, and floor plans.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for compiling data-heavy, precise product estimation sheets.
Soft Skills
- Strong professional communication and presentation skills in English.
- Confident negotiation skills when dealing with commercial contractors, enterprise procurement teams, or design consultants.
Pay: ₹18,992.54 - ₹36,681.70 per month
