Construction Worker Trainer / Construction Training Instructor
Job Description:
Responsible for training and mentoring construction workers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality job site performance. Conduct hands-on and classroom training on construction techniques, equipment operation, workplace safety, and company procedures. Evaluate employee skills, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with company safety standards. Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to identify training needs, onboard new employees, and promote continuous skill development. Maintain training records, monitor worker performance, and help improve productivity while reducing workplace incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train new and existing construction workers on job-specific skills and best practices.
- Conduct workplace safety training and ensure compliance with company safety policies.
- Demonstrate proper use of construction tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Assess employee performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Develop and update training materials and standard operating procedures.
- Support employee onboarding and skill development programs.
- Collaborate with supervisors to address skill gaps and improve workforce performance.
- Maintain accurate training documentation and attendance records.
