Key Responsibilities
- Build, develop, test and manage complex-high-quality backend solutions and possess in depth knowledge of database design and optimization
- Build solutions that are scalable and optimized
- Provide inputs during system design
- Develop standards and procedures to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
- Recommend new technology and ideas to improve sprints and efficiency.
- Deliver in an agile product development methodology in a collaborative manner with other engineers
- Analyze business requirements and technical requirements in order to develop and enhance complex code
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and 8+ years of progressively responsible programming experience in relational database using Structure Query Languages (SQL), SSRS, SSAS, SSIS or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Demonstrated strong work ethic by contributing high quality work to a number of projects, a willingness to be available as required outside standard hours, personal motivation, and the ability to meet or exceed deadlines
- Driven a culture of continuous learning to improve execution and removed roadblocks that held the team back
- Ability to work under time constraints and other demands
- Ability to display a positive attitude and show initiative towards meeting team goals and customer expectations
Skill Requirement
- Experience in B2B SaaS companies with a proven track record of building applications and technology that delight and engage customers and foster growth.
- SQL Server experience includes performance tuning, query optimization, stored procedures, user functions, XML, and database triggers
- Design build and implement ETL Frameworks for fast and heavy data processing
- SQL Developer who is strong in performance tuning, database design, database architecture
- Table Partitioning, Stored procedures, Triggers and Functions expertise
- Extensive experience building cloud based large-scale technology and applications that are reliable, scalable, secure, and highly performant using industry best practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas and project status clearly, concisely, and accurately to a broad audience.
- MUST HAVE: 8+ years of software engineering experience in languages including Azure SQL/T-SQL, C# .NET, Python, Scala, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks.
