Key Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Watch computer systems, consoles, and networks for error messages, performance drops, or failures.
- Job Scheduling: Run and manage daily batch processing jobs and routine system updates according to production schedules.
- Data Management: Perform regular data backups, verify file integrity, and handle data recovery tasks.
- Hardware Maintenance: Care for peripheral devices like printers and scanners, load supplies, and arrange equipment repairs.
- User Support: Assist internal staff or clients with basic IT problems and log system incidents.
