Patient Counsellor & Tele Sales Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a confident, empathetic, and target-oriented Patient Counsellor & Tele Sales Executive who can handle new patient enquiries, convert leads into consultations, counsel patients regarding treatment plans, and close package payments effectively. The role requires excellent communication skills, patient relationship management, follow-up coordination, and the ability to build trust with patients and families.
The candidate will play a key role in increasing consultation bookings, improving patient retention, and ensuring smooth coordination between patients and clinical teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesTele Calling & Lead Conversion
- Handle incoming patient enquiry calls, WhatsApp enquiries, and online leads professionally.
- Understand patient concerns and explain clinic services, therapies, and consultation process.
- Convert enquiry calls into clinic consultation bookings.
- Maintain proper follow-up with interested patients through calls and messages.
- Ensure minimum missed leads and timely response to all enquiries.
Patient Counselling
- Counsel patients and attendants after consultation regarding treatment plans and recommended packages.
- Explain treatment benefits, package details, therapy duration, pricing, and payment options.
- Build patient confidence and trust to improve conversion rates.
- Coordinate with therapists/doctors to understand patient requirements and treatment recommendations.
Sales & Payment Closure
- Close treatment package sales and consultation conversions.
- Follow up for pending payments and renewal of therapy sessions/packages.
- Encourage continuation of treatment for better patient outcomes.
- Maintain payment records and coordinate with accounts/front desk for billing updates.
Patient Relationship Management
- Ensure positive patient experience throughout the treatment journey.
- Resolve basic patient concerns and escalate issues when required.
- Maintain regular communication with ongoing patients for appointments and continuity.
- Build long-term patient relationships for referrals and retention.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain daily lead tracker and conversion reports.
- Record enquiry status, follow-up remarks, consultation outcomes, and payment closures.
- Coordinate with operations, front desk, therapists, and management teams.
- Share daily and weekly performance updates with reporting manager.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and convincing skills.
- Fluent in Hindi and basic English communication.
- Good counselling and relationship-building ability.
- Sales-oriented mindset with patient empathy.
- Ability to handle pressure and achieve conversion targets.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM/follow-up tracking.
- Professional and positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Graduate preferred (any stream).
- Experience in tele sales, counselling, healthcare sales, clinic coordination, or patient handling preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply.
