About the Role: Consero is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Controller to take full ownership of accounting and financial reporting for multiple clients. In this dynamic role, you will serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert for General Ledger (GL) and US GAAP, driving end-to-end F&A deliverables, optimizing core financial processes, and fostering strong, executive-level client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Independent Client Management: Own and independently manage accounting and financial reporting for multiple clients concurrently, acting as the primary delivery liaison from the transition phase onward.
- Financial Expertise: Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert in General Ledger (GL), US GAAP, Accounts Payable (AP), Order to Cash (O2C), and other relevant financial functions.
- Reporting & Audits: Ensure accurate, timely, and insightful client reporting. Conduct detailed financial reviews, submit finalized statements, and provide comprehensive audit support.
- Process Optimization & Controls: Apply critical thinking to evaluate processes, identify gaps, implement risk-mitigating controls, and drive digital transformation and industry best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication to manage executive-level client relationships, resolve escalations, and collaborate seamlessly across operational towers.
- Proactive Leadership: Act with self-motivation and agility in a fast-paced environment, requiring minimal supervision while aligning closely with leadership priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Qualified CA, CPA, or ICWA.
- Experience Requirements:
- CA: Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in F&A and Record-to-Report (R2R).
- CPA/ICWA: Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in F&A and Record-to-Report (R2R).
- Industry Experience: Relevant experience within a KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) environment is strongly preferred.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and adherence to operational management standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Exceptional client-facing and people management abilities.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of Maxio is highly preferred.
Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
