Position: Residence Butler
Location: Colaba, Mumbai
We are seeking an experienced, polished, and highly service-oriented Residence Butler for a prestigious Luxury Residence in Colaba, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional personalized service to the principal and family while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, discretion, and professionalism.
The candidate must possess extensive experience in luxury hospitality, particularly in Food & Beverage service, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, etiquette, and guest service.
- Provide personalized butler services to the principal, family members, and their guests.
- Deliver impeccable formal and informal Food & Beverage service, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, high tea, and special occasions.
- Set up dining tables as per international fine dining standards and ensure flawless meal presentation.
- Welcome and attend to guests with warmth, professionalism, and discretion.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the Chef, Housekeeping, Drivers, Security, and other household staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ensure all dining areas, pantries, crockery, cutlery, glassware, silverware, and service equipment are maintained to luxury standards.
- Assist in hosting private dinners, business meetings, family gatherings, and special events within the residence.
- Manage pantry inventory and hospitality supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Anticipate the needs and preferences of the principal and provide proactive, personalized service.
- Uphold complete confidentiality regarding all personal, family, and household matters.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the hospitality industry with a strong specialization in Food & Beverage Service.
- Minimum 3 years of continuous stability with the current or most recent employer is mandatory.
- Prior experience with reputed luxury hotels is essential.
- Candidates must have worked with premium hospitality brands such as Taj Hotels, ITC Hotels, Hyatt, or JW Marriott.
- Excellent knowledge of international service standards, luxury dining etiquette, table settings, and guest relations.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable grooming, presentation, and professional etiquette.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to the dynamic requirements of a luxury private residence.
- Previous experience in a Luxury Residence, Family Office, Chairman's Residence, CEO Residence, or serving High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs/UHNWIs) will be highly preferred.
- Candidates with experience in VIP hospitality and personalized household service will have an added advantage.
