Job Summary
The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and ensuring the timely availability of food, packaging, and non-food materials required for restaurant operations. The role focuses on cost optimization, vendor management, inventory coordination, and maintaining quality standards while supporting uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and generate Purchase Orders (POs).
- Source and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best quality, price, and delivery terms.
- Ensure timely procurement of food ingredients, packaging materials, and restaurant consumables.
- Coordinate with central kitchen, warehouses, and restaurant teams to maintain stock availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment to prevent stock-outs.
- Track supplier deliveries and resolve delays or quality issues.
- Verify purchase invoices, delivery challans, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, and service levels.
- Support cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and food safety standards.
- Prepare weekly and monthly procurement and cost reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of procurement experience, preferably in QSR, F&B, FMCG, or hospitality.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Purchase Management systems.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
